How do we work?
We follow a series of iterative steps with a focus on empathy with our audience. We consider the situations they are in, the goals they are trying to reach, and the barriers they face when they engage with our ICE Mortgage Technology digital products and services.
Discovery is a preliminary phase in the UX Design process that involves researching the problem space, framing the problem to be solved, and gathering enough evidence and initial direction on what to do next to proceed. We ask customers and each other, what mortgage problem are we solving / making better / faster / easier?
Analysis is about breaking down complex concepts and problems into smaller, easier to understand constituents. This may include a deep dive into technology, or the mortgage space, to better understand what the right solution is.
Ideation is the mode of the design process in which you concentrate on idea generation - in this step, quantity over quality of ideas is encouraged. Here we will generate several quick user interface solutions, in detail, to make sure we are all on the same page about the mortgage experience we are looking to deliver to customers.
In evaluation, ideas get refined by gathering feedback and experimenting forward. We ask customers again, we set out to solve this mortgage problem, did we get it right?
Implementation, or building out the actual code to bring the product to life, occurs once ideas have been tested and validated.
