Look at your forms and documents side-by-side to validate the details in the context of a task (reviewing the appraisal here) in Encompass 21.1

In the Encompass® 21.1 Release, ICE Mortgage Technology proudly unveiled a new configurable workflow solution that we call task-based workflow. Configurable tasks and workspaces are part of it. The end user goal of this new solution is to help loan processors and underwriters move faster through loan processing by bringing tasks and the associated documents together in one highly efficient environment. You no longer have to dig through the application to find the documents you need or have to keep track of the tasks you need to accomplish. We can do that for you. Now, you have all the documents and forms you need to work on presented to you, with an easy-to-use list of tasks, which is configured ahead of time.

As a loan processor or underwriter, a substantial amount of automation can be run ahead of time for you. When you log on, you will see a list of the exceptions assigned to you by priority (e.g. what’s closing tomorrow) that you need to work through. For example, you might see:

  • Validate income with associated documents
  • Entering file contacts
  • Reviewing application
  • Tracking appraisal and associated appraisal
  • Validate title and associated title
  • Verify property address and validate with loan data
This improvement increases efficiency and should streamline productivity, providing a more enjoyable experience overall.
